Hen Party Newquay

So you’ve been charged with the daunting task of organising the lucky brides last weekend of freedom, and anything short of perfect won’t do. You’ve decided upon Newquay as your destination of choice, but where do you go from there? Follow our 5 steps below to make sure you get the most for your money:

5 Steps To Organising To Booking A Hen Party In Newquay

1) Accommodation

Probably the most important factor in any weekend away, you want to make sure that you’ve got suitable accommodation. Most accommodation providers don’t accept stag or hen parties, so you need to find one that does. You want somewhere with a good atmosphere, but also somewhere where you can get a good nights sleep and a hot shower.

We recommend Hotel Sunnyside. Located right in the heart of Newquay, Hotel Sunnyside is a ranked as Newquay’s #1 groups hotel and Newquay’s best value hotel on TripAdvisor. They also have a fantastic ‘hen stays free’ offer when booking for 12 people or more.

Prices start from just £15 per person per night, depending on the time of year. You’ll need to collect a 25% deposit from all the hens to reserve your rooms.

2) Nightlife

Lets not beat about the bush, the nightlife is the crux of a hen weekend to Newquay. With hundreds of stags and hens every weekend, Newquay has lots to offer by the way of nightlife. With lots of bars, clubs and pubs all geared up for stags and hens, you’ll be spoilt for choice, so which ones are not to be missed? In our experience, there are a few select bars that attract the majority of Newquay’s trade, and for good reason. Check out our mini-guide below:

• Walkabout – Good for: Space, The View, Stag/Hen Acceptance
• Cribbar – Good for: Cheap Food, Cheap Drinks, Modern Interior
• Bar Help or Central Inn – Good for: Cocktails, Good Atmosphere
• Sailors Nightclub – Good for: The Place To Be, Open Late

3) Activities

Although getting yourself out of bed might be a struggle, trust us, it’s worth it! It’s been said that there is no better hangover cure than catching some waves; and with some of the most consistent surf in Europe, there aren’t many better places to learn. Half-day surfing lessons can be booked through your hotel at the discounted rate of £25 and include wetsuit and board hire.

4) Transport

There are a couple of options when it comes to transport. If you’re feeling green, we highly recommend jumping on the train. Parking can be a nightmare in Newquay during the high season and Newquay’s train station is just a 5 minute walk from Hotel Sunnyside. If you do opt to drive, consider hiring a mini-bus to cut down on costs, cut down on parking requirements and get the party started early! Hotel Sunnyside has both mini-bus and car parking spaces from £3 per night, however spaces run out quick, so book yours well in advance!

5) The Cherry On The Cake

We highly recommend heading down to Lusty Glaze Beach Bar & Restaurant, where you can kick back in their beach-side bar and watch the sun set with a cocktail in hand.
